Each year Hyatt brings together leadership and notable clients for their Corporate Meetings & Events Roundtable at one of their flagship properties.  In 2020, Hyatt invited clients from the banking, consultancy and pharmaceutical sectors to discuss the landscape of future events.

Challenge

However, Covid-19 restrictions made it impossible to bring everyone together from across the world.  So Encore and Concise partnered with Hyatt to help pivot the meeting to virtual. 

Hyatt aimed to achieve a safe, polished virtual experience that would complement the standards that client expect from in-person meetings at Hyatt properties.  Hyatt also needed to keep engagement levels high throughout the meeting.

Engagement

Concise began by understanding Hyatt's objectives, audience, agenda and desired outcomes.  The Concise team designed the Chime Live platform to incorporate interactive elements and advised Hyatt on ways to keep audience engagement levels high.

The virtual meeting incorporated live video streaming, with individual speakers and panellists sharing their outlook and opinions on hybrid meetings.

At key points throughtout the presentation, polls and word clouds were deployed to gauge participants' opinions which helped guide the conversation.

Participants were also given the opportunity to ask the panel questions during the Live Q&A.

To wrap up the meeting, audience members were asked to complete a feedback form through the Chime Live event platform.

Applause

Hyatt was estatic with the colloborative discussions between its M&E client, venues and technology partners.  Even with all panelists and participants joining remotely, Concise created an interactive, engaging and productive meeting for all.
